The residence has been given a modern feel that has been adapted to the site where sun and view conditions have been enhanced in the floor plan. A visual axis running through main entrance to the lap pool at the rear walk out. 

In terms of materials, bleached cedar cladding (exposed nail heads)with standing seam roof allowing form and materiality . Details with bleached wood to produce and overall  gray patina. Secondary materials such as stamped concrete are applied to the exterior walkways and lap pool surround.
